Fallout Equestria 5th Edition – April Pre-Order Updates

Hey folks,

We're finally seeing the books come together! Personally I'm still not sure why binding has been such a challenge, but we're getting there! 

Just to recap where we stand today: the main text blocks for the books have been printed, by now the edges have all been gilded, and basically the paper part is all finished. Our next step is to tweak a few things with the binding: The hubs came out a little shorter than they should be. The corners need to be rounded a little less to better match the text block. And the stamp might need to be moved a little to be more centered.

Once our manufacturer finishes new tooling for the hubs, they will bind a copy and send me a formal sample to review. That should take most of this week, then we still need to bind the rest of the books (~10 days), then wait for shipping/customs (another 20 days at least).

Which unfortunately means we are revising our shipping estimate to "late May."

As it stands, we are making good progress. We do have updates and real product being worked on. This just has been taking longer than expected, even with our new manufacturer. But I do want to take time to make these tweaks to make the book the best it can be. And I do want a real sample in hand to review, prior to giving signoff to enter full rate production. Even if that means taking a little longer.
